Hailing from Mufulira, Shekinah Bwalya was born in Kitwe, Zambia, on February 6, 2000, and raised in Lusaka. She’s the first born in a family of 4.
Shekinah began her modeling career in 2019, and so far she has taken part in two pageants: Miss Pageant Zambia (2019) and Miss Independence Mufulira (2020).
Despite her misplacing experiences in both pageants, Shekinah has managed to thrive in her career due to people disdaining her. They give her courage to fight, conquer and even do better.
As a model, Shekinah has secured the naturalness of her beauty with the elusive supremacy of modeling. And the stratagem is a ploy to venture into the fashion industry in the near future.
“I enjoy doing makeup, listening to music, dancing and taking pictures, making new friends, going out eating, I’m smart, I’m sexy,” noted Shekinah.
Her mission is to be helpful to children and teenagers living in rural areas as well as poverty-stricken people. She aspires to start an orphanage aimed at setting out the snivel of the less fortunate, including people living with albinism.
