Helpful ways to avoid Heart Break! Nobody wants to get hurt in a relationship. Heartbreak is a very disturbing feeling. And everyone who is in love with someone or in a relationship has the fear of heartbreak.
When you present yourself to someone and they don’t accept your love, you get hurt and feel that your heart is broken. It also reduces the confidence of falling in love again, even with a sincere person.
To avoid heartbreak, you need to minimize the chances of heartbreak, only then you can love and trust more people in your life. If you have heartbreak, it doesn’t mean that you can never fall in love again or cannot trust anyone in your life.
You can still express your emotions and talk to people about your feelings. But to avoid heartbreak, you need to keep some points in your mind.
1. Don’t Date Destructive People
Some people are so dramatic. They just date you to experience love and just for fun, and if you like them and start thinking about them, it will be very disturbing to you in the end. Such people have no idea about feelings and love, and they just want to play with your feelings and can destroy your feelings. You may also stop trusting love and people after being hurt by such people. So try to avoid such people and never take them seriously in your life.
2. Don’t Have Expectations
It sounds strange not to have expectations in your love life, but it is good for an early relationship, especially when you two are not too close and don’t know each other very well. High expectations from someone who is not trustworthy can hurt your heart. To avoid your feelings from being broken, you need to focus on real things and not to expect too much in a relationship.
Forgiveness is not about the other person or letting them off the hook. Forgiveness is for you. In fact, the definition of forgiveness is to stop feeling anger or blame at someone who has done something wrong.
Most of the time if a relationship didn’t work out, it simply wasn’t a good fit. If we’re coming from a place of full self-esteem, we would be able to see that and move on. But often in a relationship we feel a “spark” with someone for reasons that we cannot possibly understand. They come from deep-seated beliefs as a child, and that person triggered hurt or pain inside of you.
Don’t allow this hurt and anger to become your story while they’re out there moving on. By forgiving, you break the chains that are binding you and allow yourself to live a better life with the person you are meant to be with. Write a letter of forgiveness, say a prayer, or set the intention to forgive.
4. Respect Each Other
Respect is very much important in a relationship, and when partners stop respecting each other, it means they are in a very bad step in their relationship. Just like everyone, both partners in a relationship want to be treated nicely. If you are in love with someone, give him/her respect and once you start giving respect, you will also get respect from that person, and it will be a long and happy life for both of you. To Avoid heartbreak, give respect.
5. Be Honest and Clear About your Wishes
Being honest is the most likely habit, and if you are having a fear of losing your relationship that can hurt you and your life, you should be honest to your lover. Sometimes people don’t understand your logic and can lead to a misunderstanding. In such cases, when you explain something to a person you love, explain it properly.
