Lyvwa – Mabongwe MP3 Download
Malawian artist, Lyvwa, channels the Zambian singing duo, Chanda na Kay’s style in a recent song served “Mabongwe“.
“Mabongwe” is a Nyanja word meaning “baboons.” It’s often used as slang to playfully tease someone for being unserious. In many Malawian secondary schools, new students; especially those in Form One, are affectionately called mabongwe, a lighthearted nickname that symbolizes their newcomer status.
Therefore, Lyvwa skillfully dolled himself up in an impressive record, “Mabongwe” which was once spiffed-up by Chanda Na Kay in the song titled “Mapopwe” early this year.
However, the Malawian rapper further scooped out the ‘almost-the-same’ striking drum-set just as Aba Nyoli Nyoli did, though he added a ka little flair of Amapiano score.
