Into your Hand I Commit My Spirit

Into your hand I commit my spirit – PSALM 31:5. It may seem impossible at first, in the midst of a busy day, but try to be perfectly still in your mind and spirit. Get away from your own thoughts and turn your mind to God, who gave you life and your whole being.

In following this, you will receive His strength and power to carry you through all of life’s upsets. You will not be trying to live your life on your own.

Do not dwell on your searches, desires, and imaginations, but keep your mind fixed on God. You will find strength in Him, and you know He is always at hand. He will be your constant help in times of trouble and need.
