Tell God your Needs
Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God your needs and don’t forget to thank him for his answers. PHILIPPIANS 4:6
Try praying until prayer makes you forget your own wishes and blends them into God’s will.
If your prayer does not succeed in keeping your desire to a minimum, in changing your desire into submission, your anxious expectations into surrender, you have not prayed in a true spirit.
God gives you prayer, not just to help you obtain the riches of this earth, but to learn to do without them. He doesn’t ask you to pray in order to escape troubles. But prayer is a means to becoming strong enough to meet your troubles triumphantly.
